The rich heritage of St. John the Baptist Church, established in Dayton Minnesota in 1856, is a community of faith in the Roman Catholic Tradition. We, as people of God, embrace Sacred Tradition and the teaching of Scripture and are guided and directed by the Holy Spirit.
We
are called together in fellowship to support one another in faith, prayer, and
the celebration of the sacraments. We
seek to give testimony to Jesus Christ with joy and hope by reaching out with
compassion to others. We
acknowledge the gifts and talents of all with enjoyed growth and renewed
vitality in our parish community.
